Peterson NAP Stem 2.0

Some of you may recall my attempt to make a NAP stem a while back turned out kinda bulky. Well, I decided to give it another. I recently acquired a pretty rough pre-republic system (3) 12/312 from @bayareabriar thought it would be a good candidate for an amber acrylic NAP stem. So here ya go…

I think the going rate for NAP stems is $600.

I smoked it as soon as I was done with it.

It smokes great, but I'm not sure there is really any way to quantify the properties. It's not life altering, but it smokes just as well as any other Peterson System pipe. The pipe itself smokes very dry.

Man, your almost perfect on that NAP. A little more time with the file on the edge of the button, and as you said a little tighter towards the main bore I would call it Peterson/Silver quality, or as good as it can get. The minute details such as the verticle grooves in the button. Maybe the right file would make it more identical, but I don't think those are really a make or break when it comes to the looks, because they are so small the only person that would know is you.
