I'm smoking my largest Ooooooooom Paul filled with luscious Penzance this morning. Brothers,there is no bowl too large for this experience

Hobie, sorry to keep butting in, but, I wonder whether you might find that you can do yourself a very real favour (re money) by looking at perhaps a really nice Pre Republic Oom Paul instead? I had a beauty which I rather unwisely sold to fund the Darwin Deluxe. The Oom Paul was a far more pleasant and rewarding smoke than either of the 2 House Pipes I have owned. Bowl capacity is very close and value for money...... well let's just say that a New House Pipe is going to run at North of $275 when an Oom Paul can be had for a great deal less.
This is the Oom Paul that I had.

1930's, mint condition, cost me $60 inc shipping to the UK. 8O

That would be great to have...I just wanted maximum bowl capacity for a Peterson w/ P-lip and that's what I'd like to spend as well
