It's got to be the smoke flow ..... I am considering slowly replacing my so-and-so pipes with P-lipped Petersons.
Does that Barkeeper's Friend dull the vulcanite ? I have no access to buffing machines so just wondering. I've cleaned up stems with Magic Eraser but still need to get in the nooks and crannies that still have a tinge of oxidation. I'm working on a System Pete I got off eBay :D

Yeah it dulls it as it takes off the oxidation. But you might could shine them by hand. It doesnt leave the surface rough like bleach does.
