I Definitely prefer the tinned product. I find it decently stout and very flavorful but either one is enjoyable in their own way

Good review!
One of my favourite from the beginning of my pipe smoking journey. With a little age (2 or 3 yars) it loses some of the sharp notes, then it's always getting better... I have one last tin from the Murray era (approx 20-25 y.o.) and several from 5 to 15 in my cellar.

I've noted no topping taste with the Victorian I have.
A few reviewers have seemingly found some "flavoring" to it, but the bulk taste none.
