Thanks so much for posting these.
I love the idea of the Dracula pipes, and really like the stem and silver & how they play with the semi-gloss black of the shank and bowl. The painted briar is the only thing that makes me hesitate on pulling the trigger here myself. I have to say, I really like your choice of shape. That straight stem is really working.
What a wonderful addition to your collection; and please, fire that baby up and give it the attention it deserves. You'll be happy you did.

Thanks Pruss. :)
I had really debated on weather or not to go with this style or their #03 Bent Apple style. Fellow forum member Lordofthepiperings has one of the 03 models, and loves it. I REALLY liked the way both of them looked, and went back and forth several times.
Ultimately, I went with the billiard because I thought it looked "slick" and liked the idea of combining the non-conventional color scheme with a traditional shaped pipe. It just works well for my wacky sensibilities.
Having said that, I would honestly have bought both, if my funds had allowed.

No need to fret -- I did the same thing with my first Ashton. Go ahead and leave it in the box for now until you're ready to enjoy it. It's your pipe
Thanks for the "support" Rothnh. For a bit there, I was beginning to question my sanity. LOL!
I am glad to see I am not the only one who wanted to "save" a pipe, instead of just smoke it. Maybe some day, when I over the phase where I am enamored by cool looking pipes, I will load it up and enjoy. Maybe I will have an exceptional day that calls for a celebration (like retirement). Maybe, just maybe...I will just keep it in the box until my son inherits it...who knows. :?:
Thanks again Rothnh, really. I felt silly thinking that I shouldn't smoke the darn thing. Heck, it's only a pipe, but somewhere deep down inside I just want to keep it NEW. At least for now.
