Greets, all,

I'm looking for a Peterson churchwarden I only got a glimpse of, and don't know what the style is called, but perhaps a description would do the job. The bowl appears thick and smooth, but significantly has a slight hourglass curve inward the bowl that reminds me of some Mark Twain cobs I've seen. Any ideas of what kind of pipe this is and where it might be availale?

I think I know what you're talking about. Don't remember if I've seen it as a churchwarden or not, but I think it's a special Sherlock Holmes shape.

Not quite. It had an inward bend like an hourglass. But it seems to me it did resemble a MM Twain pipe. Correction: it reminded me of the Patriot cob.

It's driving me nuts that I can't find it. The only other idea I can think of is the Peterson Tankard. Closest I could find in shape to the patriot cob, but it doesn't have that hourglass shape.

I FOUND IT! At James Fox. Unfortunately, is appears to be out of stock, but does anyone know what kind this churchwarden is, or described as being?

It seems to be some trick of light. The pipe is actually a Peterson D 67, and is said to have thicker walls than your usual churchwarden.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered one from an eBay vendor and it has to travel overseas, but the price was reasonable for a Peterson church, and had a large, thick chamber for a church with a beautiful grain. I'm anxious to get this one.
