I saw them today. Is it just me or do they look to be almost exactly the same as the 2019's?
They look nearly identical....I got an 05 anyway....I'm such a tool.
Upon closer inspection, I agree. They look darker than last year's and appear to come in more shapes. I got a 408 last year but was eyeing up an 05, 999, or a B10 for the 2020 offering.....
I was eyeing an 05 but went for a 2018 version instead. I like the blast on this years but I've already got a Peterson Newgrange Spigot with a black sandblasted bowl and a brown coloured stem so I gave them a miss.
I would've gone for the 2019 but over here they have a solid silver ferrule instead of the copper one that the American pipes had. I like silver on a pipe but I preferred the look of the copper version. Still don't know why we got silver ones on this side of the Atlantic.?
Last year was rusticated. This year is sandblasted. Also, last year, they had "P" stamped on stem with gold foil. It seems "P" is missing this time around. This whole thing reminds me of St. Paddy's Day pipe from earlier this year. Will keep looking, but probably pass on it.
Did not have a Tankard in Peterson Christmas line...so I just purchased one.
I like these because they go with any season, but I have too many pipes and too many Petersons to invest in another. My Petes have all been good. Never got stuck with a junker.
I like some of the new blasts, but I've got Petersons that've been stored away for years that haven't even been smoked yet...
Just got the 2020 Tankard...Nice and light...The stamping is not deep but overall the Tankard feels good in the hand.
Great looking pipes. Blast plus an Army mount is hard of me to resist, but I just dropped some $$ on new binoculars. Just sent the link to my wife as "possible xmas gift idea." We'll see how that works out

Very nice looking pipe! Tankards never seem to look appealing to me on the website, but they look great in pics people post here.
