When I got home from work yesterday, this is what I found at the door.

The pipe is a Peterson River Collection Corrib in a cool deep red finish. The tobacco is new to me but old news to most of you guys. I tried the Connoisseur's Choice last night. It smelled good enough to eat! Forget dessert, I'll smoke it instead! I'll be trying the Irish Whiskey in an hour or two. For a new guy, this is very exciting.

Thanks guys. I LOVE the Irish Whiskey! I'll definitely buy more when this tin is done.

Connoisseur's Choice is my FAVOURITE!!! That and a good cold glass of scotch or Baileys is heavenly. I tried Sunset Breeze earlier this week and I have to say it's pretty good as well. The Amaretto flavoring in it came through well. You should give Luxury Blend and De Luxe Mixture a try with your next TAD. Those are some other good Peterson aromatics too.

Lordofthepiperings, thanks. I thought Connoisseur's Choice smelled good enough to eat. I liked the flavor while smoking too. I tried Irish Whiskey last night and was very impressed. Tonight I'm trying Irish Oak. Tomorrow, Sunset Breeze. I've only tried the 2 Peterson's so far and I like them both.

Last month I picked up a pair of Peterson B5s and I can't say how happy I am with them! The Irish Harp B5 is above and below is the Donegal Rocky B5. The silver work is superb! And for under $120 there is no better pipe!

They look great! I've been thinking of picking up an Irish Harp B10 or XL02. Is the stem transparent? I haven't been able to tell in any of the pictures I've seen.
