Peterson 80? Question

Bought some pipes the other day. Been researching them, one is labeled Peterson's Dublin & London, Special, Made IN Ireland, there's a number near the bowl 80? Can't make out the last digit. I'm guessing it's one from the 40-50s?
Anyone have information they can share? Thanks
