As for this year's Peterson offerings I've had about three or four bowls of Summertime and Special Reserve. So far both blends have been really good. The flavorings are nice and transfer at a good rate into the smoke. Also, there's a nice sweet Virginia after taste for me with both of them. The room note is really good as is usual with these offerings. I haven't been bitten by either blend yet. My only complaint is how moist they came. You can smoke them right out of the tin, but filling the pipe and letting it sit for fifteen minutes before smoking would definitely help. If you're interest is piqued by these blends don't hesitate to pull the trigger on them. The last few years they've all sold out rather quickly.

Haven't tried the Holiday blend yet, but will in the next few days and will let you know. I did smoke a bowl of 2012 holiday this morning for the first time and I loved it. So much so I wished I would have smoked at least a bowl of it last year so I would have ordered more.
I smoked a couple bowls of 2013 summer a few days ago and liked it so much I ordered 5 more tins yesterday. Makes 7 total of summer for me.
The peach in the Special Reserve smells wonderful but scares me. lol Any opinions on he 2013 Special reserve.

So far I've smoked only the summer blend and it was great. I'll be trying out the holiday and special reserve sometime this week.

I'm enjoying the Special Reserve. It gives a light peach and fruit flavor and has a soft sweet Virginia after taste.

I opened a tin of Summertime while on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of the time it was smoked on the balcony of my room, early morning coffee and nightly drinks. Several people made comments on the nice aroma of the smoke. The mango and rum flavors were just enough, not overbearing for a hot summer day.

So far I have now smoked Summer and Christmas. As stated above I absolutely love Summer. However, I was let down by Christmas. Christmas 2012 was much better. I am going to smoke it a few more times before I make my final judgement, but after two bowls in two different pipes, I am not impressed.
