I find the cavendish a distraction from start to finish. I'm not saying it hasn't got variety points but the center's consistency is so different from the rest of the coin that you're faced with choices every time you smoke some.

Do I fold and stuff, and put the cav on top? on the bottom?

Do I rub it all up together?

Do I pop the centers, rub the twist and add in the centers as pieces of seasoning?

Do I try all these to see how they work, and in about 6 different pipes?

It was fun.

Now, I'm headed to the LNF.

Al off the PS flakes are good smokes and great values IMHO. I have some LBF I just finished off with a bit more just starting to age. Next up for me will be LTF, which has about a year on it now I believe. I'm out of LNF :-/

I loved the LBF but being somewhat sensitive to the old vitamin N I found it would sometimes hit me a bit too hard. I then read somewhere that the LTF has slightly less nicotine, so my last order from P&C included 3oz of LTF; and after five or six bowls I can see it becoming my regular go to smoke, the rich easiness of a VA flake, billowing cool smoke that stays lit, and for me without the kick in the pants from our old nicotine friend.
May need to pick up one of those 1.5lb boxes in my next order.

P&C has it deeply discounted if you buy 80+ boxes...$1.46 per ounce!
You get that price if you buy 80 oz, or 5 lbs. I buy all my Peter Stokkebye blends in 5lb increments and jar them up. The various Luxury flakes are very compact, so you don't need too many jars as compared to when you buy the ribbon cuts. I use 1/2 gallon mason jars (pickle jars!) and when I crack one open I transfer it into smaller pint and 1/2 pint jars. These flakes are great tasting and a great deal.
