That stuff is truly rotten. Bought a couple tins, had one bowl, awful. Now I'm concerned the other tin is a sitting contaminant. Never thrown out an unopen tin, first time for everything.
I got the aro as soon as it was released, and it's fine. Maybe we're the lucky ones thoughI have three jars containing the three Pesse Canoe blends that I purchased upon their release earlier this year. When they arrived, I transferred the contents to mason jars. There is zero evidence of mold in any of these jars. To call moldy tins an “epidemic” is sheer hyperbole.
I’ve had one of each (oriental, lat 20 and lat 40) and in Canada they come in sealed generic pouches rather than tins. No issues with mold but I also notice what you’re talking about. If I’m honest it‘s kind of off-putting and strange. Feels like how particle board is made in woodworking.I was surprised at how these flakes crumbled. It didnt really rub out/delaminate but quite literally crumble into doughy pills.
Its entertaining to me how many brands tin tobacco especially for the US Market. Imagine Peterson and Orlik's demise here if they came bagged.I’ve had one of each (oriental, lat 20 and lat 40) and in Canada they come in sealed generic pouches rather than tins. To each their own but I found all of them a bit suspect quality-wise, even if they smoke ok.
