Finally upgrade my personal audio system. Sounds damn good. Sony NW -A306. Fiio Q3 MQA AMP/DAC. Letshuoer S12 Pro 14.8 mm Planar drive.

For a wannabe audiophile, could you do a bit of 'splaining what's what (except the DAC, perhaps.)
Sony is the DAP or Digital Audio Player (MP3 Player). Fiio is basically headphone amplifier. Letshuoer is IEM (In Ear Monitor). Sony DAP is least expensive one in their line, but very portable and has rather good sound. Letshuoer will play the music fine with Sony, but with older sources like recordings from 50s aren't loud enough to give full body sound. So, Fiio amp boost the sound. Planar IEM are usually little hard to drive, amp definitely help. Letshuoer S12 Pro is known for clean, crisp sound with great separation.
I read somewhere that King Charles III personal audio system is the band of the Coldstream Guards.

OMG! Gotta have, gotta have!! But one huge drawback: It takes time to shut the doors and move to the next neighborhood you want to deafen.
The cost of broken windows in the vehicle out weights the cost of the sound system sooner or later.

Guards bands are made up of fairly good musicians. So are the regimental bands. Only exception is the Gurkas pipes and drums. While I was in London, Gurkas were in for the change of guards. They do that every 7 years or something. Their pipe band was just horrible. They were on par with most American street bands. I was embarrassed for them.
