No. 8 is a pretty decent smoke and it's more of a crumble cake than s Flake. Their Scottish Flake is a McClelland Flake through and through but I think Peretti actually tops it which wine to make it their own, so to speak.
To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with most of their blends. They all start tasting the same after awhile. No Name is my favorite out of the bunch.

No. 8 is a crumble flake so there are thick flakes and they break up pretty easily. I checked my cost from early 2015 and I paid $74.00 for 16 oz. and now it is $80.00. Higher but not a killer to me if you like it.

Thanks to Zitotczito, I got a very unexpected, and healthy sized sample of the No. 8 Flake. I can tell immediately it was made by Sutliff. I'm smoking a bowl now, and when I smoke a little more, will post a review.
