Just because you can't do it doesn't mean that people who can do it should be beaten
There may be exceptions.

In my previous post I mentioned the owners of gigantor big wheel pickup trucks that are clearly toys, who don’t know their trucks dimensions and who back into spaces sometimes blocking doors of the car next to them, or taking a slice out of the neighboring space.

A couple of days ago I went to the Ashland Food Coop, a high end grocery owned by its employees, and there was one such toy, gleaming white, covered in chrome, parked so that it blocked a handicapped parking space, its idiot driver lounging in the front seat. I stared at him standing next to the handicapped sign, where he could see me in his driver’s side rear view mirror. We locked eyes for a moment and he figured out that he ought to move that pig. After about 4 tries, he finally managed to back into his space, and I went on in to do some shopping.
I may be old and decrepit, but I still have that stare that screams “crazy” in a way that makes others decide not to fuck with me.

During my copper career I observed many drivers perceive the size of their vehicle incorrectly. Some think it is larger than it is and are unable to park in a normal space. Others think their vehicle is smaller than it is and insist on backing and filling, bumping cars front and rear, numerous times before admitting defeat and moving on. Often hilarious to watch. Other times? Such would require my intervention.

My Granny used to tell me about her special park that God always saved for her at the grocery store...I found out later from friends who lived in her town that she parked on the end of a turning bay which meant everyone else in the lot was screwed trying to get from one part of the lot to another! This was classic Granny, she lived by her own rules (which she referred to as Gods rules).
