Payday PAD and TAD

Well, the PAD/TAD fund got replenished and almost immediately depleted. I had no intention of spending it yet but I was on SmokingPipes and saw a Peterson lovat for a darn good price. Along with it, I got a couple ounces of the famed Lane 1Q since I've never tried it.
Here's the pipe.

I really like the lovat shape as well. I just hadn't seen one I wanted and could afford at the same time. Now I get to find out how one smokes.

Man I love this pipe. It smokes like a dream and looks great as well. My wife even likes it and she tends not to like straight pipes. It smokes cool and dry (never thought a pipe alone could make that big a difference) even more so than some of my more expensive pipes. This was a good buy and the tobacco is pretty good as well.

There's something about a Peterson pipe that makes me drool. Could be the silver band or the grain, I'm not sure, but I just love the look.

For me it's the silver band. I have yet to buy one though. They always catch my eye.
