The pipe is very small, group 1, maybe a group 2.

The chamber is decent sized, I am sure with some flake you could get an hour out of a bowl.

Congrats, that is a cute little critter :)
Not topped, imho a tenon repair.
I own a wonderful family era Barling's make with a similar tenon, the fit is perfect.

Could be a repair, but the seldom seen Barling De Luxe Briars were supposed to be accomodated with an alu. push tenon.
What does it weigh ?

Great picture Jesse.Thank you for posting.
On mine the mouthpiece is married to a ye olde wood stummel . It is ( I assume ) original to the pipe and the alu. tenon is bevelled where it enters the stem. The mortise is ( of course ) also bevelled .

The fit is perfect, but I never encountered such a tenon before.

Will try and post a picture later.
