went back and got it for 11 bucks.

Here are some pics. Any info would be great. Also some help on how to clean it up would be nice as well. Can you sand it like wood? I assume you can with at least the stem?

I guess it actually said genuine turkish block-meerschaum

Also someone mentioned the tenon and I guess it is screw on.

That's a pretty little pipe. I bet it would be great for flakes. I don't know much about Meerschaum, but I think I would leave the bowl alone, sanitize/clean/polish the stem then fire it up and report back to us and let us know how she smokes. Happy Birthday btw!!!

the only thing is that the previous owner scrapped the char off the top and it is pretty rough.

I'd clean that stem, put some baccy in that dude and smoke it! Congrats, they're fine pipes. I should be getting my other one from storient by tomorrow. I'll post pics when it gets here.
