woods' and pa', keep us posted "from the inside." I, for one, have only occasional tips and cues from the pipe tobacco world. I get distracted by many other things, as my sometimes uninformed posts may reveal. Everything I know I read on Forums, or sometimes it seems that way. The professionals on Forums provide the real lowdown, on which most of the rest of us rely. My most recent reading on FDA was from a local tabloid, but related only to vape regs, apparently not even aware of the cigar and pipe tobacco implications, just for example. The article suggested that the regulatory process will take several years to kick in, but judging from the rest of the reporting, I don't take that at face value.

You are a lot better informed than most of the mass media, sir. Case in point a front-page story in the WSJ a few days ago on the anticipated boom for Cuban Cigars, once trade is normalized with the US. Not once in the story does the word "FDA" appear. That's a bit strange, since the FDA's new tobacco regs pose a very significant hurdle for the re-entry of Cuban cigars to the US market.

ok why wasn't I considered? I was a mfg rep in the Jewelry Industry representing the largest bangle mfg in the world, one of the largest Italian Chain and Charm mgfs in the world. I then managed one of the largest Dodge dealers in the zone of N.E. I then owned my own businesses for going on 26 years. I am insulted, to not even be considered, how dare you. Oh wait, you wanted someone to go back to work? Never mind.
