Is this a good smoke, ordered 5 to try?
And inconsistent as all hell. Have had 45th and 80th Padron Aniversarios that were brilliant and some that were nothing but a peppery mess. One is much better off buying the x000 series line and aging it vs. paying for the aged hoopla.Padron makes a good cigar that is fairly affordable as opposed to their anniversary series which are terribly overpriced.
Same. I haven't bought a Maduro padron in several years. When I get that rare itching for a Nicaraguan cigar, Padron anything Natural almost always works. The maps are better for the golf course, the wrapper is tougher. I prefer the taste of the naturals.
My thoughts exactly. I have some with several years on them and they age really, really well.Very good but over priced due to shape IMHO. I'd just buy the 3000. Similar flavor profile, similar size and less money.
