I needed a pipe that I could regularly carry in my travel pipe pouch, so using that as a rationale, I got this lovely Peterson Killarney Billiard. Any excuse to get a pipe...

Enjoy your Killarney! I had a fishtail bent Killarney that served me well until I traded it (Just didn't smoke it enough to justify keeping it)
Beautiful pipes! Yours is quite the looker :D

I've got two Petersons and have wondered about the Kilarney line. Are they stained red? I can't tell from pix. I've thought about a Dublin but not sure which line to get it from.

Nice Peterson Fred. Should serve your needs quite nicely. It's not very hard to come up with a reason to buy a pipe now is it?? :D

The Killarney is indeed a deep red.The stem is vulcanite. And I can't recommend the Dracula series too highly. Now, I reallly shouldn't have bought this Killarey, but I needed a pipe to go in the pipe case in the car--what could I do? And the Killarney is a great smoker, which is no surprise because it's a Peterson.
