PAD Strikes again!

I swore I was done buying pipes and pipe stuff for a while. Really, I did! But I still had a few on my EBay watch list and one of them popped up at a rediculously low price with only 15 minutes to go. So I figured, "What the heck? and posted a small bid, you know, just in case. $16 later, I know have yet another pipe.
So now there are three pipe on their way to me. The latest:

It's not so much that I bought the pipe, because you're right, at that price I'd have been foolish not to. It's the fact that I was still watching auctions even though I'd met my pipe "quota" for the time being and told myself I was done :D

I had a similar experience about a month ago when a friend who manages a local consignment shop sent me a photo of this meer. I resisted for nearly five minutes before asking him to hold it for me. This is pipe number 30. My wife still doesn't know.

Very nice buys gentleman. My wife is more supportive of my pipe collection. I have let her know I am looking for a birth year Dunhill and she is ok as long as price is reasonable and when I mention a interesting pipe she says "buy it" I tend to hold back a bit more, hoping to wait for the right one, not the 1st one.
