Guys,
I hope I am not more dense than my neighbors, but I have what may be a "stupid" question.
What the heck dose "PAD" stand for?
Signed embarrassed in Alabama

pstlpkr, It stands for pipe acquisition disorder. When one can't help from acquiring a new pipe every so often.

Hey Dudley you may be in luck. The $45 Tsuge 223s are multiplying over at smokingpipes. There's like 5 or 6 now.

Something I didn't comment on about the new churchwarden (and maybe it's common practice/knowledge), but it also came with a standard length stem. Kinda like getting 2 pipes in 1!
BTW...lovin' it! Nice cool, smooth smoke! Noticed a lot more sweetness in the Cap't Black than I normally do.

I want a dual stem churchwarden so bad. I thought I had the PAD under control till you had to mention one, Thanks Bytor.

lol...Ok, I'll take the blame on this one. But I blame Lawrence for my PAD...he was the one that posted his churchwardens first!

Bytor,
That is a sharp pipe, I don't think I've seen any HCA's that weren't. I do wonder though, does it gurgle with the longer stem?

I didn't seem to get any more gurgle than I normally would. As a bonus, I am able to pass a pipe cleaner all the way through by just putting the slightest bend at the end and with just a little twisting once I hit the shank.

Sap:
While I fully support all PAD for my vicarious enjoyment, you could always buy a cob and a Churchwarden stem.
Instant dual stem Churchwarden

Although I still think you need an HCA like Bytor's.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how high smokingpipes.com rates the condition of their estate pipes? It's pretty optimistic sometimes.
That rim is too messed up to be rating a 4.7 out of 5. Beautiful pipe though.
