I've seen several of todays carvers use that stem shank treatment on a pipe.

JC, here's the Hackert
Fine looking pipe and I like the way he bends a stem ever so slightly.

There's just something about owning a Jake Hackert. I never thought I'd find one like I did on eBay. He listed it at 9:58 and I just finished paying for it by 10:01. I got way too excited :)
