This is a fantastic pipe! I just bought one from his website, with a little better grain ?It was so difficult not to get this one instead:

Totally get this, and I do the same.Stress has really been getting to me lately. Everything that's going on these days, trying to keep open and grow 3 different businesses and hopefully not have to lay anyone off, my wife being on unemployment, humans in general. It's just a lot.
Decided to let off some steam and get myself a little gift. Found a very unique pipe from carver Svetlana Nechaeva she calls a rustic snail:

This is my third pipe from her and the second snail in my collection although the other is a snail shell. I've been really happy with my other two pipes from her and I think not only is she a talented carver but her pipes are probably a little under-valued, IMO. Depending on the actual source it can sometimes be a very small hassle to get these pipes as I'm told Ukraine doesn't allow PayPal but it's worth it though.
It almost looks like it could be a reverse calabash but I won't know until it gets here. I love the uniqueness and funkiness of it and for some reason I'm now craving some escargot... ?
It hasn't arrived yet so I can't say for sure but based on one of the pipes I already have of hers it's probably not.So is the snail a reverse calabash or not? Sure looks like it could be, especially looking at the fat end of the stem.
Gotcha. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't say for sure but based on one of the pipes I already have of hers it's probably not.
Should have gone with Stokkebye. Same blend just cheaper and has the five pound option.Stress = excuse for me! Just bought a stress pound of
Arango: Balkan Supreme...![]()
SP now has a five pound option for the Arango, but it is more expensive than the Peter Stokkebye.Should have gone with Stokkebye. Same blend just cheaper and has the five pound option.
