P Lip vs Fishtail. An observation

Both Peterson 999 style one and Emerald and the other a Dracula.smoking the same tobacco
The fishtail Dracula consistently produces more gurgling than the Emerald P Lip for whatever reason I don't know. The P Lip also has a bit better taste..
Maybe you will disagree,but this is my unscientific observation.

I find that the same tobacco does taste a bit different if p-lip or fishtail but gurgling is not an issue unless I smoke to hard and fast. I would add that I do draw more with the fishtail than the p-lip.

I don’t mind the P-lip, but prefer fishtail. Gurgling only comes up for me if I’ve packed the pipe wrong or if I drool into it. ️

BBB made a Glokar stem which was kinda sorta like a Plip.

And BBB made a well pipe.
