In my sorrow over being unable to utilize the 20% P&C sale, I sought refuge in SPC and found a Steve Weiner pipe without any spider webbing! Woot. Can check him off my list:

And 6 tins of various Kramers tobacco which WAS 20% off after I reached the 5 tin mark. woot.

I'd pay the extra at SPC to know I would get it, and not be double charged for it. Tried Stan's link to correct the double charging of my ISPD order, and was told,"No record found". :roll:

Maybe I am the exception, but I have never had an issue with P&C. I order from them maybe three or four times a year and every order has processed without issue and I have always received exactly what was ordered.

Decided to explore, spent some time on it, and then, at 20 hours after the email:

Promo code REDO17 is invalid or has expired.

I suppose that answers the question.

I'm curious to see what happens with my order.
I generally only buy tobacco and accessories at P&C. I refrain from purchasing pipes from them because like jravenwood I like see pics of the actual pipe I'm purchasing.
Good luck everyone. I hope nobody gets double billed and I hope everyone gets their packages promptly. I'm curious to see what the goodie box is.

It's tempting, just to be able to say "I was there", but in all honesty, my hoard of pipe tobacco will outlast me and my daughter, should she (and her children's children) also decide to take up the pipe.

Woodsroad I'm still stockpiling and at these prices I'll gladly pick up 3 or 4 pounds. I'm going to be using your packing trick with the fragrant matured cake I picked up.

Fitzy the McClelland Fragrant Matured Cake (2000) is great stuff. I put up 5 pounds of it in an insane binge acquisition spree a while back. I hope that I still like it in 20 years!

I fell for the 20% promo. Swore I wouldn't, but I'm a sucker. If you consider it gambling, you will feel better about the experience. (Or lack there of) If you expect nothing, you will never be disappointed. Fingers crossed.

Got a tin of Tawny Flake that Jay was talking about, some Anniversary Kake to replace the pound that I used for a recent trade, and a 3.5 oz tin of Comoy's Portwood. Portwood is quite similar to My Own Blend Livgarde, one of the few aros that I really enjoy.

Got my order and goodie box today only a couple of days since the order. That's two flawless orders in a row since the IPSD meltdown. Hopefully this means they've got things running smoothly again.

My order arrived in two days, packed nicely, everything in order. Even got the goodie bag!

I have talked to representatives each time. This is over a return which P & C authorized. The UPS tracking shows it delivered on March 28th. P & C has no record of receiving it. They simply say it hasn't been processed yet.
