Oxy Clean Question

I have recently purchased some Oxy Clean to make a bath to wash and treat my pipe stems. My questions are, how much water should I add to a scoop and or is a scoop too much? And, how long should I soak the stems? I looked for a while trying to find this topic so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I read a number of articles before finally trying this with a few of my new estates. My technique was twenty minutes in one pint of hot water combined with one scoop of oxy clean. Then attacked the stems with a magic eraser to great effect!
