Yes, most of my pipes are estates. Im just not up for spending 3-500 for a pipe. I could but I tend to be thrifty. Also, if its a well cared for pipe the chances of it cracking after so long are pretty slim. I tend to binge shop for pipes as well and at full price that would start to hurt a bit.
Having bought so many this year has left me with a bunch of pipes I either need to put on the bay or here when I have priveledges. Most all of them are under 100 and a lot of basket pipes Ive revived for under 30 euro. Less by the dozen! Mostly I restored them to kill time. Im a bit hyper and need to keep my hands busy when Im not making sax mouthpieces. Problem is now that Ive fixed them up I cant toss them....they smoke well but I cant keep them all...gotta do something with them!
