I smoke in my hobby room and the only reason I am allowed to do that is because my lovely wife smokes with me on occasion! She loves her pipes and scolds me when don't invite her to smoke with me!
your wife with a paddle in her hand....oh my. 8O :nana:

Mostly outside as I am not a fan of the stale tobacco aftermath -- and I live where it is aawfully pleasant outside pretty much all year round.
Still, I do smoke inside from time to time and I'm considering trying fit out a room with a enough of an air mover/purifier to make the after smell a less of an issue.
ETA: And in the truck. Always in the truck.

I board with a women and her two kids. I am allowed to smoke in my room so i am usually perched on the chair feet up by the window watching the world.though i do enjoy sunrise and sunset outside on the step.

Being in The Stan right now, I'm relgated to the outdoor designated smoking area (behind the latrines). But when I get home, its game on! Being happily divorced also, I will be smoking indoors and of course, in my truck. I live in the Seattle area so if its not raining there, its at least overcast so an indoor smoking area is a must. That all being said, our short summers are nice for a cigar on the front porch (course I'm new to pipes so no pipe experience at home just yet).

I haven't smoked outside in the winter yet (new to pipe and all) but I enjoy winter actives, running, etc. The way the snow stick to the beard! I'll vote outside since that's where I've smoked so far and probably will continue to do so.

You need to check out The Seattle Pipe Club When you get home! The meet in your area and they are one of the largest pipe clubs!

The Interwebs
Home office at night / days when I work from home, and either the roof deck or the sidewalk during afternoons when I duck out for a quick(!) hour-long smoke break.

No smoking in the house... Wife's rules. I do have a "smoke room," but. I still prefer being outside. Being in east Tennessee I have to watch to avoid the awful summertime heat and humidity, but the evenings are nicer anyway.

I'm egarly awaiting fall... As, in my mind, that is the best time to smoke a pipe :puffy:

I love my wife and choose not to do things that would hurt her. She is very allergic to all smoke, so I choose to only smoke outside or in my detached garage. Due to the high dust factor in my garage/woodshop, she is basically not allowed in there.

outside.. have a son who has terrible asthma, wouldn't want to do anything to trigger an attack. So i am happy on my backporch smoking and being alone with my thoughts.. good way to wind down the day.

Inside, my wife learned that if I'm not allowed to do it she won't see me as much. Although I do enjoy the occasional smoke on the balcony (pending weather).

outdoors only for me...will take heatwave over deep freeze of winter any day around here..but it does impact my

enjoyment of the hobby...can't smoke inside around wife/kids due to health issues...perhaps I need

to fix up the garage as my new smoke'in lounge (gives me excuse to fix the garage as well...been saying it for 2yrs now) ;-)
