So I just got back from visiting my gal where we smoked outside. Now I'm home; smoking the same tobacco blend I smoked outside only now I'm home smoking inside. Same tobacco, same pipe, only difference, now I am indoors. For me the inside smoke tastes 110 times better. The inside smoke I truly love. I don't know why, it just makes me wish I would have saved the tobacco I smoked outside for what I am enjoying now. Do you experience the same?

The difference is that indoors, you're smelling the smoke, so you get that extra input that you're not getting outdoors unless you retrohale.

I stopped smoking indoors years ago because I didn't want my place smelling of stale tobacco, and I wanted to limit the amount of smoke I inhaled into my lungs. A slow retrohale gives me those flavor notes that one gets when smoking indoors.

That makes sense. The place I smoke inside is small; my smoking utopia I've found.

I like to smoke indoors, and keep the window slightly open, about 20/40 centimeters, but if I smoke outside, the wind speed has to be almost zero, unless I'm on a terrace and a little protected from the wind. In short, I like the concentration of aroma, so I prefer to smoke indoors. Now that I've lost my sense of smell, I prefer to look at the tobacco and suck on a lollipop.🥴😵‍💫

I like the concentration of aroma. Yes save the cheap tobacco for outside savor the concentration of aroma tobacco where it can achieve Nirvana inside..... I'm learning :)

It's like going to breakfast at a fantastic café, your dream café, your favorite café, and ordering scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, bacon, four-story sandwiches, fruit juices, apricot tart, blueberry tart, chocolate and orange tart, with four scoops of ice cream, four types of coffee, hot tea, and the morning newspaper. And suddenly they bring you a glass of water with a set of dentures in it. That's smoking on the street. 7OA7.gif

Smoking indoors definitely enhances flavour as you’re getting room note plus retrohale but Latakia does tend to get the lady of the manor some what agitated
I don’t smoke much Latakia now, but when I did my wife liked the smell. She said it reminded her of camp fires and camping. I don’t smoke in the house though. I smoke in the garage when it’s too cold or windy outside.
