That’s a good assertion. I couldn’t figure out what the shaping was like. It definitely has an “old world” feel to it, but definitely not English or Danish. The swooping line would be in keeping with French filigree.Really cool pipe man. I dig the flat/blasted sides.

Makes sense, didn't realize it was concave, the edges would catch a reflection.I think it's just how the concave curve of the rim caught the light.
