Are you talking about tobacco or the Shandygaff establishment with morally loose clientele?

I am actually aware of the roughly 6 bars in the U.S. by that name. I was smoking it and thought "What the hell's a Shandygaff?"
Thanks for the heads up, I'll stick to the tobacco and never go into any of the Shandygaffs just to be safe.

L. J. Peretti has two excellent oriental bombs: Tashkent, and Oriental #40, and I also second the recommendation for McConnell's Original Oriental. I've got probably 10 lbs of that stashed away - it ages fantastically.
Oriental silk and orions arrow both by c&d are pretty good oriental blends with no latakia.
Had to look up Shandygaff. Sort of wish I hadn't. Why would anyone mix ginger beer into beer, unless they had to for some dire medical condition? Or are you referring to some fratboy bar near Penn State? I am unfamiliar with and leery of both.

I would reccomend the brewery. It's a dive but the staff is great and their whiskey selection is amazing. And I've only had one issue with a methhead trying to seduce me there. (I looked at her and thought why is that granny dressed like a 20 year old and she moved in like the snap of a finger and I realize oh shot she is 20 just a meth head.)
I still don't know what a shandy gaff is but it scares me to be honest.

Which is on topic, because I love the exotic spice and musk found in good Oriental tobacco.
Glad that the kids have better taste in cologne these days. For years the most popular scent seemed to be toilet cleaner.
