I was formerly a member of the Krewe of Dionysus (Mardi Gras organization)

I got out of the CG as a 1st. One of the flight crews I worked with admitted into the Ancient Order of the Pterodactyl and I hauled the Krewe of Zulu a couple times on the Claiborne.

Boy do I miss NOLA. Lots of good times in that city.

Delta Upsilon - Michigan State University. We have the Touchdown Bell that is on the field and gets rung after every touchdown.

Our house was 2 blocks from Campbell's Smoke Shop. A brother and I wanted to play chess on the front porch while watching coeds walk to class, so we purchased some basket pipes and dragged out some nice chairs and the game board.

This was my entry into pipe smoking.

I was a slow starter. I started as a FN trying to be a MK for 3 years before I switched to become a PA. I made PA3 in 1976 and PACS in 1990. I retired when they said, "Congratulations! You will be the next master chief and we're sending you to headquarters." I was stationed in New Orleans 1977-81 and again 1989-93 when I retired.
