I go in for a teeth cleaning every six months and my dentist offers oral screening to all patients, not just smokers. Oral cancer can and does invade anyone, smokers and non-smokers alike. Most major health insurance companies now cover oral cancer screening as the cost to them is minuscule compared to their cost when paying for treatment of oral cancer.

First I want to say kuddos to instymp for finding time to smoke 10 bowls a day, that is a feat. Most I have done is 3 bowls on a lazy saturday.
And I fall into the category that cancers have many triggers, stress quite possibly one of them. I feel my pipe smoking time helps reduce my stress, which is better for me. Last dental check up they didn't say anything about smoking, but I also do not offer it up.

Ironically I can breath much once I start smoking my pipe with a cup of coffee. My sinus seem to clear immediately. Plus, there are many other things to give a person many types of cancer. I loaded up about 5 or six pipes last night and have been going at it since, trying different combinations and such.
