Don't worry brah I'm just asking because it usually isn't something I'd call a pleasent smell, maybe in softcore porn and romance novels they'll describe it in a pleasent way, but most of the time you'll smell b.o. and stuff, sometimes a downright stench. I just don't see it as a selling point imo.

I actually love Opium perfume. I can remember the 1st time I smelled it in the late 70's in a elevator. I was 7 to 9 yrs old and asked the lady what perfume it was. I tried to get my wife to wear it. She said hell no, it smells like an old lady LOL. It is a spicy, sweet, oriental. I have read that compared to todays perfumes it is strong enough for a man to wear. Not something I would do but will be the only way I get to smell it in my house.

Smoking opium in a tobacco pipe would be very inefficient because burning it actually destroys the alkaloids that create the high. It works pretty well in a hookah, though, since the heat is indirect. It actually tastes quite lovely with shisha. I suppose when I said it smelled like sex, I meant that the aroma is not entirely dissimilar to certain parts of the female anatomy.

I didn't realize that discussing hookahs was against one of the rules here. I'll refrain from doing so again. I just started smoking a tobacco pipe, and I originally came here to discuss that, but this topic diverted my interest a little. Again, so sorry for breaking one of the rules.
