I had made a New Years Resolution with my better half to try and control my PAD problem and I actually kept that promise for almost two weeks into the middle of the first month of the year. Well, having now broken that promise here is my first pipe purchase for 2014. This is a BREBBIA Linea A Pura bent saddle Dublin. This will be the first Brebbia pipe for me and I am curious to hear others opinions concerning this brand.
These are the sellers images. Pipe to arrive this Thursday.

I did a post asking about Brebbia pipes recently and got nothing but positives. Good looking

pipes that smoke well. Love the inlay treatment on the stem, and the shaping on the bowl and

shank. The Dublin is a terrific shape for many forms and variations, and this is a good one.

After reading MSO's thread on Brebbia I pulled mine off the back of the shelf. Its a small 1/8 bent bulldog with a small bowl (purchased intentionally for shorter smokes of Latakia blends). I think its a pipe that needs really good breaking in and cake and with the small wide bowl I have trouble packing it to stay lit. When I do get it packed properly it is a great smoker, but when its not it constantly goes out on me. I think you'll like it though, looks like an easier pipe to pack than my little bowl. I personally would buy another Brebbia that caught my eye.
As a point of clarification I purchased it new.

Here is the only Brebbia I own:

I got this from 4noggins about 8 months ago and I just love it. Like brdavidson, I purchased this for quicker smokes. It is very light (I am a clencher) and smokes well. I have now been feeding it nothing but flake and it loves them, so now I have a smaller flake pipe.
Enjoy yours.

Ha Ha Dan, that is the exact pipe I bought! I know you're shocked by that. I have a bitch of a time packing it because the bowl is so wide and shallow. How do you manage to get it packed well? Any tips for a bonehead?

I only own one and I only recently got it. It's a Iceberg 800 extra long Canadian. However, it's a very nice pipe with a large bowl. I can't saw it's the best pipe I own and I'd rank it around a Savinelli or Peterson level of quality. I'm happy to have it and I enjoy it for what it is.

Brian,
If there is a bonehead on this thread it isn't you, it's me. When I pack flake I fold the flake in half like I am going to do the fold and stuff method, but once I stick it in I twist it, almost spiraling the tobacco around the bowl. Obviously this bowl is shallow so a bunch falls out. I then rub out the escaping flake so I have kindling to light her. I then perform somewhat of a Frank method of going around the bowl with my thumb and pressing lightly. I know this probably sounds like I have no clue what I am doing but it has worked with me on this pipe. I have tried that method in deeper bowls and it doesn't perform as well and I now know why. Its because I am not putting in enough baccy. Almost a year into this thing and I am STILL feeling my way around.

I got one. It turned out to be varnished. Didn't smoke badly, but I sold it quickly. There is a concern about the safety of polyurethane and compounds like it.
