I have been smoking 1Q for the past 3 or 4 months as my main smoke with never A hint of A buzz.
Last week I won A oom paul on ebay, after cleaning it and giving it A day to rest

I could not decet any goast.
I loaded it with 1Q about A quarter bowl. I got it going and in about two minutes I had A buzz going on.
The pipe bowl 2 inches deep and just under 1 inch across. Is this just something with

and oom paul, or was it gosting something. Man this is A new one on me.
thanks

Jerry

It sounds like the chamber of the OomPaul is larger than what

you are accustomed to. If this is the case, it could be that

smoking more tobacco gives you more of a nicotine content to

deal with. Ghosting is a term that refers to a resident taste

that some blends leave in a Pipe. When you cleaned the Pipe,

what did you do?

Fred I reamed the bowl back to the wood, wipped it down with everclear.

cleaned the stem with oxiclean, then everclear, cleaned the shank with everclear till A pipe cleaner came out clean.
and yes it is A much bigger bowl than I have smoked before.

When I first started smoking larger bowl pipes this happened to me. When you are only used to smoking 30 minutes to an hour, then you start smoking the upwards of an hour and a half to 2 hours this can happen. You will get used to it soon.

I think surfmac211 has the answer to your question and the reasonable

expectation that it will resolve as you get used to bigger bowl chambers.
