Several of the more obvious mixologists have been listed, and I'm sure that more will be added.

I was thinking about who, how, and why.

Here's an oldie but goodie about Cornell and Diehl, which made me think of Carole Burns, Perretti, and other 'houses'.

Rudiger L. Will and his Solani for me. Silver Flake and the 633 Virgina are two I always have near my pipes.

Jazz, R.Will is a great blender and it is a shame they discontinued his Brigham Klondike Gold. I would add Kohlhase, Kopp und Co. KG as they make a number of my favorite flakes.

There is a symbiosis there between Mike and Mary. I'm not sure that one can exist without the other. They just might count as one organism.

I think Jeremy is a heck of a fellow, and has learned a lot in his time with C&D, but he's not in the same class as Russ Oulette.

In time, perhaps. He's got spirit and an innovative mindset. He doesn't have the time in service. (or his name on the can?)

TobaccoReviews.com lists Per George Jensen as the blender of the HH line and 3nuns Green & Yellow. If he is, I could see making room for him on the ark.

I would probably take along the mastermind(s) behind the Samuel Gawith blends.
While Escudo is my favourite tobacco, Gawith is undoubtedly my favourite blender.
Full Virginia Flake, St. James Flake, Best Brown Flake, Sam's Flake and all the rest would make for wonderful pipe fuel until the end of days...

A big shout out for R. Will as an excellent blender. (think Long Golden Flake)
I'm torn between Hans at HU Tobak and Peter Stokkebye.
Overall, I'd have to go for Stokkebye tobaccos just for the wide range and tastes they cover.
Ol' Pete isn't my absolute favourite blender to be sure, but he covers a wide gamut of tastes that I could live with for a long time.
Then there's Old Alfie Dunhill and the blends he had a hand in......

I'm humbled to be mentioned in this thread.I wouldn't mind being on the ark, as long as I don't have to sit near the geese. They're rat bastards.

You might want to stay away from the honey badgers, too.
As to Alfie Dunhill and others, the ark doesn't truck with dead people....
So, it's Russ and Greg Pease. (All other animals get to go in pairs.....)
