I cannot even imagine the pain associated with stones that big.

A couple years ago I had a 2mm stone and it was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life.

After my wife drove me to the hospital the VA doc was giving me some strong pain medication through the IV and it did not help the pain one bit.

I passed the stone into my bladder while I was in the MRI machine.

After that I was in la la land from the meds.

When I was discharged they gave me the strainer and cup for when I was to pee it out.

I was nervous as hell going to the bathroom after that but I lucked out cause it broke down on its own.

Take it easy and heal up quick TopD.

Kidney stones were worst pain I've ever had in my life. Having them surgically removed was no fun either but man, "Did it feel good when it quit hurtin" !!!!!

I never passed a stone, but I remember the story from an old man next door growing up. He was out in the woods hunting, one started to pass and got stuck....

He pulled out his knife and cut it out.... I can only think if the pain of cutting the end of your pecker open is less than the pain of passing that stone, that is some kind of hurt.
