Evening Piper,

I know lots of you have a large rotation of tobaccos and welcome the variety. On the other hand, even though I have a large and varied cellar I find myself smoking the same two or three tobaccos all the time...Orlich Golden Sliced and its twin Boswells Private Stock and Pegasus. Just curious if any of you find yourself smoking the same tobacco(s), and if so, what?

In the beginning I'd have several blends open. Now I like to just have 2 or 3 going and smoke them until they're gone. Then open new tins. But yeah I like variety

Yep. My go to blends are PS Luxury Twist Flake, Dan Hamborger Veermaster, G&H Brown Flake A, and F&T Cut Blended Plug. I will occasionally pull out something from the cellar, but these are the regulars. I’d be perfectly content if nothing else existed.

I have several opened tins and quite a few in the cellar, but
I primarily smoke Cowboy Coffee, Autum Evening, and Faulkner Flake. It depends how I feel when the coffee pot stops running as to what I load the pipe for that first smoke while I drink that first cup and fill my pocket tins with for the day.

I have quite a few open, but I do go through spurts where I smoke the same couple of blends repeatedly.
I like Haunted Bookshop and Peterson Irish Flake very regularly (pretty much daily).
Autumn Evening is one that I have nearly every day as well. So those 3 tobaccos probably make up 60-70% of my smoking.
It was HH ODF that I reached for about half the time but I'm slowing down on that to preserve my stash. I'll still smoke it regularly, but a bowl or two a week is it. That way I'll be able to enjoy it for years to come.

I started pipe smoking with Middleton’s Cherry but have about a dozen blends on hand. By weight the vast majority of what I own is a cherry blend of one sort or another. It’s nice to try a different blend every once in a while, but for 30 years cherry has been my go to smoke. And cherry blends get lots of compliments when I’m out and about with a pipe.

I’ve settled on Elizabethan Mixture and Billy Budd of late. Usually Elizabethan. That will probably change eventually but they are my go to‘s now. I have plenty of other options that get mixed in occasionally to change things up a bit.

I do a pretty wide variety, including small batch/new release. I do crack new tins of SPC Plum Pudding(all varieties), MM Party Line, Freja and Loki, Nightcap, CBRM, and Haunted Bookshop Cake... those are ones I regularly come back to.

I have quite a few jars on my "smoke from" stand but usually reach for Pegasus, Prince Albert or Autumn Evening. Whats odd is I have several premium blends and its usually PA at least once a day.

I primarily smoke Stonehenge Flake and Ennerdale. I dip into mason jars occasionally and try some new releases. The aforementioned two are my tried and true.

Definitely settled. Pegasus, Crooner, Winchester Granger.

All of the above provide a sweet smoke to varying degree.

Will occasionally grab Haunted Bookshop or other burley blend for the more savory alternative.

Latakia I no longer enjoy in any amount. A little Perique adds interest

The one main constant for me is Luxury Navy Flake with coffee in the morning, I have found nothing better to start the day with. I have 60 different blends in the cellar, just counted, Hope to smoke them all!

I enjoy variety with pipe tobacco, so I try to rotate through all of the blends I have. But the ones I go back to with the most frequency are Half & Half, Sutliff Sweet Virginia, Peter Stokkebye Peaches & Cream, and recently Lane HGL.
