I haven't smoked it since he died, which was only a short time later, but am thinking more and more about doing so these days.
I highly suggest you start smoking it again in honor of Art. I think he would like that. Very nice!

George, Only you could have done that with your first pipe. It has amazing grain and a great shape for a first try how you never went into pipe making your self I have no idea. Talk about a natural, you could have been the Ted Williams of pipe making.

Absolutely stunning. The fact that you did that with improvised tools, what you had on hand, & your craftsmanship makes me want to try making my own. Do you still make pipes or was this a 1 time thing? Apologies if you’ve already answered this question. I haven’t looked further on this thread.

Of course it came out like it did. His last name is Englander which is the same last name as mine, which means we are born with sick talent.

I forgot to mention I am the only Harris Englander on the planet.
