I don't know ... tough one. I have been having a personal conflict with my smoking habit. Yes sure, i love smoking, but I also want it not to impede on my health and the Important moments I would miss due to the fact that I neglected my health. Since my son was born November last, I seriously cut down on my cigarette smoking .. months at a time passed before I touched one. But boy .. when I went out drinking with friends I sure enjoyed some smokes. I no longer smoke inside, but I will smoke a cigar, or maybe two if I barbecue with friends in the outdoors. I found out that one Churchill is fine, two or even a Churchill and a robusto will make me sick next day. As we speak I am smoking a pipe on the patio.. my heart rate is down to 72, which is grand for a tachycardiac .. like it has been said ... why not? As long as you do not exagerate, I truly believe the risk is negligible. Exaggeration? Well .. that is going to be a constant battle I will keep on fighting untill I die, but total abstinence is not the solution to this battle in my opinion.

I don't have any advice. My kids are under 3, and I only smoke after they've gone to bed. I don't want to influence them to become smokers, so I'm really not sure what I plan to do as they get older.

As far as anti-smoking sentiment - well, my dad doesn't like smoking, so I just hide it from him. I'm almost fifty now, and it's been working so far.
