Scottish, German, a tiny bit Cherokee (I know, everybody claims that one) and some Choctaw. A bit confused in heritage.

My mother's grandparents were Swedish immigrants. Her father was always proud of his Irish heritage, but after doing a little digging, I found out that his last name was actually English - so evidently, at some point his ancestors went from Lancashire to (probably Northern) Ireland... and I can make an educated guess about when and why (coughCromwellcough).
Ah, well - I've got documented Scots connections on my father's side of the family, along with German and more English (possibly Welsh, as well).

I'm 1/4 Irish 1/4 German and 1/2 Slovene and thank goodness the Slav wins all the arguments :)

No pix on that link either (Jeremy being Jeremy).
My mother is a Hungarian refuge from WWII and on my fathers side, my grandfather immigrated to the US from Wales in 1896. My father spoke Welsh in his home as a child but no longer speaks the language (he is 92). My mother, 86, still speaks both Hungarian and German. I've never been to either country, but a trip to the UK is definitely on our wish list. (I love British pipes, cars and motorcycles) Both of my grandfathers smoked a pipe but they've been gone so long no pipes remain.

Sorry guys - it's the strangest thing - the image shows for me most of the time, but then I noticed it wasn't showing on occasion. No idea.
Anyway - it was a scene with Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson talking to someone who was half Irish and half German. he said something to the effect "That's an odd combination. You must be like "This must be done perfectly - tomorrow"
