@ejames, thanks my brother..I just sent images of it to a few masters to get some feedback and got really nice feedback on it...makes me fueled to make another...got a nice old church-style poker drawn out on another nice hunk of olive wood to make for my Uncle T's bday present, don't have to worry about pits, etc. on it
