So I liked my first Olive wood experiment. So I decided to have another go and that I didn't really have a plain billiard - and so, a simple billiard. I uploaded two photos since the light makes such a huge difference. It's 6" long, 1.75" diameter with a 1.875" deep 20mm parabolic chamber. I'm hoping it smokes good!

That's a beautiful pipe?. I love the way olive wood looks.

For folks with a good many pipes (whatever that means to you) I would think an olive wood pipe would make a nice addition to the rack, a little different with the interesting grain. The idea that it is heavier than briar makes me think a slightly smaller pipe might be better, to keep that weight down, but that's a personal choice. Some like 'em heavy.

I’ve never gotten around to buying an olive wood pipe... But they are nice looking.

I made a pipe out of Lilac, which is supposedly similar to Olive from what I’ve read.

I had several, and all smoked fine. Workhorses that I smoked frequently.
I still own a bunch of Olive wood pipes. Smoke fine, but all mine have a 9 mm filter tenon and that’s not really my thing.
So another bunch of projects in the drawer. ?
