This sounds so wacky to me but no doubt some might find it quite appealing. I just feel if something is just right then it can't be improved upon so should be left well alone.

I managed a coffeeshop for years, even worked at starbucks at one point ...so many things come and go, they are always trying to reinvent the wheel ...fat does carry flavor, so I see the logic here, but I just don't think it's necessary. However, if you dig it, more power to ya.

If you want great flavor, imo, get some high quality, oily beans, grind yourself, french press it ...I just don't need much more than that from a cup of coffee.

I understand that people are looking for alternative fats for their coffee, so what I'm about to say isn't that -- but, fwiw, the only non-dairy additive I've liked in coffee in oat milk. The natural sweet nuttiness works really well.
If I could never drink milk again, I would definitely substitute with oat milk, and I'd be perfectly happy.

I hate the almond vanilla stuff, but oat goes well with coffee indeed.

I thought Itallians knew coffee. Why is there a starbucks there?
Because even the locals want to tey new things!
When Pizza Hut opened in Athens in the early 90s everyone flocked to it like crazy. I remember as a kid you had to reserve a table and wait weeks before getting a spot like it was a high end restaurant. Pity is they bowed out of the market a few years back, I still like that particular plastic taste of their dough but haven’t had it in years.

The Pizza Hut in my small town on the Oregon coast finally closed down last year. In the eight years I've lived here I never went to that Pizza Hut. When I was a kid I used to like their pan pizza, but, like most fast food chains, they deteriorated over the years to the point that they are a disgusting facsimile of their former quality.
