Old Yello-Bole

I found this 30's Yello-Bole amidst a box of old pipes I acquired somehow. It was filthy. The shape of the stummel was interesting so I cleaned it up. An alcohol bath revealed that it was coated with something--varnish, shellac, whatever. A little sanding took care of that. The stem was in good shape, just corroded. Turned out alright.

Looks great. I have a Yello-Bole Checker I like a lot, a straight panel billiard. It smokes really well.
