Folks, didn't know if anyone else had tried this tobacconist here in Virginia. Old Virginia Tobacco Company has been in business for over 30 years and has several storefront locations in the Richmond and Northern Virginia area and of course sell online. I recently tried their "Gettysburg" blend which is a blend of Virginia tobaccos and smooth black Cavendish with hints of Colombian coffee beans and dark chocolate and have thoroughly enjoyed it! It doesn't matter how stressed I get, I can sit back and enjoy a bowl of it in one of my cob pipes and just feel the stress of the day melt away. I find it has an extremely vibrant flavor and the smell that permeates the room from the smoke afterwards is very pleasant as well. I definitely plan on trying some more of their blends.

I've stopped into their Cary St. location while in town on business and had a great time enjoying a pipe or 2 there!!! While I am not much of an aro guy I do have a tin of Gettysburgh cracked open that I enjoy when the aro beast in me needs slaking.... Delicious with the morning coffee!
I also have a tin of their Commonwealth blend that I am ageing. It is a VA blend and can't wait to try it this spring....
