I have recently come across a photo of an old tin of Grousemoor. I like the old design so much more than the current one!

Any old tin labels you prefer to current one?

P.S. With a little bit of editing I made a cellar label for Grousemoor based on vintage design. If you need one, please find the file attached.

Love it!
You should add a band around the edge that is the same color as the vintage tin (I can't tell for sure if it is orange or red)

Old C&D tins had amazing tin art. The redesigns and newer tins lack creativity.

As someone who has a horse, I can confidently say that C&D regressed when they changed their Bridge Mixture design.

The stink fumes and the flies are accurate, although horse droppings are more of a deep green, rather than the dark tan hue portrayed here.
We have a Belgian Jack mule that makes flies fly away.
He makes buzzards get back ON the shit wagon.
He's got the plumbing of an ancient Roman sewer!
He once set off a smoke alarm. :)

There's a study that indicates that things today are much less colorful, much simpler, and much more uniform than they were in the mid-20th century. I've seen a video on the subject, but it's in Spanish.

I had a tin of Grousemoor given to me in 2013, but can’t fully remember the label, wasn't the old one for sure, but don't think it was the new one either, but if not it was close, could have been. The original owner didn’t like it, one sniff and I never smoked it, not pleasant. it’s possible I have it in deep storage, but think I threw it out.

Too bad I did because Gawith is a big favourite of mine now, Ennerdale, 1792, I love those unique flavours.

Oh, I can see that every time I'm at my window watching traffic: all the drab, boring, uninspiring colours of the cars (in addition to most of them being ugly as heck amorphous blobs) versus the vivid, joyous palette we had in the 50's-70's. Depressing.
